AMAÇ Mekanik ventilasyon gerektiren hastalarda kritik hastalı¤ın basit, pahalı olmayan ve dinamik bir göstergesi olarak vücut kitle indeksi (VK‹) ve C-reaktif proteinin (CRP) öngörme de¤eri bilinmemektedir. Bu nedenle, bu çalıflma, yo¤un bakım ünitesine (YBÜ) kabul edilen travma hastalarındaki VK‹ ve CRP göstergeleriyle mekanik ventilasyon süresi arasındaki bir iliflki varl›¤›n› ve insidansını belirlemek amacıyla yürütüldü.
